Ok, so I know it's been almost 2 months since I've added anything on my blog, but I have been sooooooooo busy. Since I last posted on here in October, I have shot a wedding, done several parties, shot all three squads of the Vestavia cheerleaders in action at their games, taken all the individual pictures of all the children at a daycare (and yes they were all so cute), I had a great turn-out photographing all the children in my neighborhood on Halloween (even though my lights weren't co-operating, the pictures still turned out pretty good), plus I've been doing my regular photo shoots, especially so many sittings for Christmas pictures and Christmas cards.
And the best thing of all is I LOVE IT. I've been so busy designing photo Christmas cards for my customers and it has been so much fun. I absolutely love personally designing each card.

Hannah and Phillip

This was the most amazing photo shoot I have ever done. After walking around the gardens and doing many different poses, I asked Hannah and Phillip if they had any ideas for any poses they would like to do. Phillip quickly said, "Yeah, I have one" and he got down on one knee and pulled an engagement ring out of his pocket and asked Hannah to marry him. I couldn't take the pictures fast enough, I had no clue this was going to happen, so I was quiet surprised too. These pictures will mean so much to them and I was so glad to be a part of this wonderful time.

Also Phillip left for Iraq the next day so we will all pray for his safe return. I love you both!

Katie's Bridal Shoot

Even though Katie was married last year on the beach, her mom wanted pictures of her in her dress at their church. So on Sunday, September 9th we went to Shades Valley Presbyterian Church for her Bridal shoot and she was such a beautiful bride. I loved taking pictures of her, she was so great to work with. Fun Day with Jeadyn

I have been SOOOO Busy filling orders that I haven't had time to update my blog. On August 6th, I met Jeadyn at the Botanical Gardens for his one year old shoot. ( I had previously done his six month old shoot back in the spring). He is sooooo ADORABLE and I love taking his pictures. Here's a few of my favorites.......

Kacy and Rich's Wedding 8-4-2007

On August 4, 2007, I shot my first wedding. Of course I've taken pictures at weddings for friends, but this was my first real wedding to totally shoot. It was at the Botanical Gardens and even though it was not suppose to rain that day, guess what, it did. Two hours before the wedding started we had a good 40 minute downpour, so there was a quick change of plans.

VHHS Cheerleading Pictures 7-30-2007

For two afternoons ( 7/30 & 7/31)I took individual and group pictures of the VHHS Cheerleaders. We took the pictures at a nearby university. Other than being HOT outside the weather was nice both days. The girls did great and they were all so nice, I loved taking all of their pictures, especially the headshots of the seniors. More Beach Fun!!!! 7-28-2007

Of course you can't take a teenage girl and her friend to the beach without them wanting you to take their pictures. So we did a couple mini shoots of them in their clothes and in their bathing suits. Both sessions turned out great and the girls had a blast getting their clothes all wet.

Beach Trip 7-27-2007

Well, we decided to make one more quick beach trip before school started. It just so happened that a friend of mine was at the beach too and was thrilled when she found out I was there. Needless to say, a beach session with her family was definitely in the works. Here's a few favorites from the session. This session was done on July 27, 2007. Kelsey Model Shoot 7-1-2007

Kelsey has been wanting me to take some model shots of her for a while now, so when I had to meet with a client at the Botanical Gardens for an upcoming wedding, I told her we'd do some model shots there too.
